Firebrand sports journalist with Accra-based Asempa FM, Patrick Osei Agyemang, known as Countryman Songo will be exonerated by the contents of investigative journalists, Anas Aremeyaw Anas yet-to-be released documentary, Number 12.
According to Kwame Sefa Kayi who claims to have watched the documentary, the contents clearly depict the level of corruption in football administration in the country.
The investigative journalist is reported to premiere his latest video expose dubbed “Number 12” which will be ‘about corruption in politics and football’.
It has been said that the video expose will be premiered in Accra on June 6, 2018, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Anas’ Boss, Abdul Malik Kwaku Baako who is the Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, has hinted that “it will shock the very foundation of hitherto decent and well-respected Ghanaians caught in this expose and the damage is irredeemable”.
Sefa Kayi who fell short of describing the video as an exact reflection of the gargantuan corruption at the FA which Countryman Songo has been fighting expressed the hope that the documentary will help shape football administration in Ghana.
The firebrand sports presenter, Countryman Songo, has been at the forefront of fighting corruption at the GFA.
He has been sued by the President of the Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi, for alleging that he is corrupt.
Songo has in recent times been taken off air for making similar allegations.
