The Acting Central Regional Women’s Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Agnes Owusu, has denied rumours that she horded clothes given to her to distribute to party faithful during the 2016  electioneering campaign.

Rumours are ripe among members of the NPP in the Central Region that Agi who is seeking re-election horded some clothes given her for campaigns.

The rumours were said to have been championed by the Central Regional Chairman of the party, Chairman Kutin.

Attempts to reach Mr Kutin to react to this have however failed.

According to Auntie Agi, the clothes and an amount of money was never given to her but were presented to the region by the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo to the 23 Women Organisers and their deputies of the party in the region.

The items, she said, were received on behalf of the region by Mr. Joe Donkor, the Central Regional 1st Vice Chairman.

The clothes and money were said to have been given to some current Members of Parliament who used them for their campaigns.

These donations were documented by the 1st Lady.

She has thus called on her critics to send their queries to the MPs who received the items and money.
