PHOTOS: Bawumia consoles family of late Oman FM Journalist

The leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia over the weekend called on the family of the late Oman FM presenter, Martin Kwabena Kwakye alias Wofa KK at his residence in Accra.

The Vice President who was in the company of the National Organiser of the NPP, National Lottery Authority Boss, Sammi Awuku and other top officials of the ruling party conveyed the condolences of the party to the family of the deceased.

Wofa KK as affectionately called in the media fraternity died on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, after he reportedly collapsed and was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital.

Late Wofa KK was also the Director of Radio at Kencity Media

He was until his demise, the Director of Radio at Oman FM and host of Boiling Point, a popular political talk show on Oman FM.

“This afternoon, I paid a commiseration visit to the residence of the late ace broadcaster, Martin Kwabena Kwakye alias Wofa KK of Oman FM fame.

“Wofa KK was a true blue NPP person who was an authority with a strong voice in the media. He served his country well until his demise. My condolences to the family and Ken City media. May the gentle soul of Wofa KK rest in perfect peace,” the NPP flagbearer wrote in a post.
