The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Henry Quartey this morning visited an injured Police Officer who survived an accident which claimed the lives of three other officers during an official operation at Kyekyewere near Suhum in the Eastern Region on the Accra Kumasi – Highway.

The officer is currently receiving treatment at the Police Hospital in Accra.

Hon. Henry Quartey wished the officer a speedy recovery and assured him of the Ministryโ€™s commitment to ensure that he receives the best medical attention.

The surviving officer, General Corporal Samuel Jude Kuofie, thanked the Hon. Minister for the visit and well wishes.

The Minister for the Interior was accompanied by the Inspector General of Police, Dr Geroge Dampare, some officials from the Ministry and Police Management Board members.
