Journalism has been my prior job during childhood. With all things been so good for me, I am able to achieve my aim and fulfill the promise I made to my family. I am now a renowned sports journalist working with Ghana News Page.

Asante Kotoko captain Felix Annan has been named as the best local footballer of year at this year’s edition of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) awards.

The Kotoko goalkeeper beat off competition from former AshantiGold forward Shafiu Mumuni and newly signed Dreams FC forward Joseph Esso to win the award for the best footballer on the domestic scene in 2019.

Annan was key for Asante Kotoko in their CAF inter-club competition last season which even earned in a place in Ghana’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations squad.

He has been one of the best goalkeepers on the local scene for some seasons but recently lost his position to Kwame Baah.

Annan will be hoping to reclaim his number on spot for Asante Kotoko when the new season begins.
