National Coordinator for the Nation Builders Corps, NaBCo, Dr. Ibrahim Anyass has refuted allegations of challenges with the application process of NaBCo.

He said since the launch the secretariat has been receiving almost 9,000 applications daily.

Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme, “Focus,” Dr. Anyass said, NaBCo is voluntary and is not targeting supporters of any political party or people from any specific ethnic group.

He said the NaBCo Secretariat will be set up in all districts for effective co-ordination.

NaBCo he stated is targeting only graduates while the Youth Employment Authority is focusing more on non-graduates.

He said a comprehensive legal framework is being developed to regulate NaBCo operations.

Labour and Civil Engineering Expert, Ben Arthur, advised Ghanaians to focus more on the benefits and relief that NaBCo will bring to the unemployed youth.

He called for the segregation of all graduates because there are people with PHD’s who are also unemployed.
