Newly appointed General Manager for Class Media Group, Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus) says he will appoint an aide to NPP general secretary John Boadu, Patrick Nii Addo Lawman as communication director for the group.

According to him, Nii is a hardworking, objective and energetic young man who can help him manage the company.

Mr Asare Obeng who will be running the affairs of the five-year-old media conglomerate, which has business units dotted all over the country made this known on his Facebook page today, 17th October, 2020.

He wrote: “My first appointment shall be Patrick Nii Addo Lawman as communication director of CMG. Patrick, a hardworking, objective and energetic young man is currently a staff member of NPP party headquarters. He holds a master’s degree in communication and is also an aid to John Boadu, NPP general secretary. Nii, I’ll be excited to have you on board.

I wish you accept this and work with us to bring to the good people of Ghana a new understanding of journalism and mainstream media as a whole.

CMG shall not in any way be used as a platform to promote one political ideology above the other. I shall ensure that people of diverse opinions are brought together to work towards building a better CMG and above all a better Ghana. It is not about where you belong.
My appointments shall be based on one’s capabilities and love for this beautiful country called Ghana, not your hairstyle or your political affiliation.

It will be a privilege to work with you Nii. Many appointments shall follow in the coming days. Dear good people of Ghana, please work with me. I need you now than ever”
