Aduana Stars defender, Farouk Adams has been remanded into Police custody for two weeks for crushing a Policer to death.
The player was remanded after he appeared before His Worship, Osei Kofi Amoako at Berekum Circuit court on the charges of careless and inconsiderate driving and negligently causing harm.
The Judge directed that he should be kept in police custody for two weeks for interrogation and investigation as the police indicated to the court that they are still investigating the case.
The 31-year- old will appear again before the court on March 18.
After the court sitting, Lawyer Baffour Akoto who represented Adams in court indicated that, the bail which he pleaded for Adams was to aid him seek medical attention but the prosecution insisted that he is a flight risk.
He later lamented that he was disappointed by the bail plea been rejected by the court by hearing from the prosecutors he is at flight risk.
