The founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah has attributed the Black Stars exit from the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) to the negative tactics of Ghanaian trainer, Kwesi Appiah.
According to the controversial man of God, the coach implemented certain tactics at the tournament that baffled him.
“As a former footballer myself, I was shocked at some of the tactics Kwesi Appiah played in our matches, some of the tactics were very bad…he should have known better, some changes he made were not the best at all…,” the man Of God said.
The Black Stars were on Monday kicked out of the tournament by their Tunisian counterpart at the at round of sixteen stage.
This was after Ghana was beaten 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
Ghanaians are livid that the Black Stars could not end the 37 trophy drought after the team admitting that they were given all they needed for a successful tournament.
He further called on the Normalisation Committee (NC) to get the Stars a new coach as according to him, Kwesi Appiah is bereft of ideas to manage the senior national team.
