Renowned legal practitioner and sports enthusiast, Moses Foh-Amoaning believes the current development that has led to the death of former Egypt President will help Ghana win its fifth (5th) AFCON trophy after 37 years.

Speaking on Atinka FM’s “Total Sports”, Mr. Moses Foh-Amoaning recounted how Black satellites went to Egypt to play the U-20 World Cup in 2019 which led to unrest in some countries like Tunisia.

He said “I cannot say it is really happening but I can sense that the current development can help to the extent that can at least kicked Egypt out of the competition and if Egypt is out of the picture, it will give huge advantage to Ghana, and it’s been 37 years since we last won the Afcon, if you look in the stars 3 and 7 are complete numbers, so me I believe that something should be working in our favor, but whatever it is let’s tell the players that, this is our chance so they can work hard and win the cup for us”.

The former GBA President also called for calm following a recent concern about the Black Stars not able to score goals in their pre-Afcon tournament matches.

He was however of the belief that the team will deliver as expected.
