The official mascot for the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations who was used to toured various Senior High Schools and Universities in the country which came as part of the publicity measures being put in place by the Local Organising Committee to create awareness for the tournament.
After two years of service rendered (She) as Agrohemaa is yet to receive her last payment from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The ministry promised her (Agrohemaa) GHC 50,000 as allowance or wages and initial payment of GHC30,000 was made before the nationwide tour was started.
The Mascot was promised to get the rest of the money after the tournament but after two years now it has end in tears.
“When you go to the ministry no one is even ready to talk to you, they will just tell you the minister is busy so come next time and that will be all”, Agrohemaa said in an interview with Benji.
