The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has confirmed Justice Sophia Akufo as the next Chief Justice.
The President announcing her at the Flagstaff House in Accra Friday described her as a lady with a ‘leading lights’ at the courts.
He said he has no doubt that she would be a worthy successor to Justice Georgina Wood who is retiring in the few weeks times.
