Akufo-Addo has totally transformed Ghana in three years – Bawumia

    The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has commissioned a warehouse at Asaam to help store farm products harvested from the farmers and goods before distribution.

    The facility will help industries across Mampong municipality to store harvested products and reduce unemployment in the municipality.

    Dr Bawumia reiterated that the NPP Government will transform Ghana into a developed country if Ghanaians give them another four years to continue their transformational agenda programmes.

    According him, the government’s flagship programmes including Free SHS, One District, One Factory, free electricity, free water are good policies been implemented to improve the lives of the citizens and they should be expecting more.

    “In fact, within three and half years, change has totally come. Ghanaians are crying no more. Government is gradually changing the nation with good economic growth and stability. Ghana will become great nation and it needs a government which is competent enough to control the affairs and bring good policies that will benefit us all,” he said.

    The Chief of Asaam, Nana Nyamaa Sarfo expressed the community’s appreciation to the ruling NPP government for policies been implemented to improve lives.

    The Chief therefore urged the government to come to their aid since their challenges are numerous.

    “We will vote for Nana Addo Dankwa and the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Asante Mampong Constituency to bring more infrastructures in our community,” he added.

    The Vice President also used the occasion to unveil a 12-unit classroom block and 200 bed capacity dormitory at St Monica’s Senior High School.

    The headmistress, Esther Ntow Gyan appealed to the Vice President to help come to the aid of the school since it has numerous challenges which is hampering the smooth administration.

    “We’re having huge challenges as an institution and we can’t do all as a school but we will plead to the government to urgently intervene in our challenges but they get out of hand ” she pleaded.

    Speaking at the event, Asante Mampong Chief, Nana Osei Bonsu praised the President and the Vice president for not been corrupt.

    “I will use this occasion to commend the Vice President that the implementation of the Free SHS programme is a very social intervention in this our fourth Republic. I therefore commended you and your government for the provision of 200 beds dormitory and the 12 units classroom” he added.

    He urged the government to help transform the University of Winneba Campus at Asante Mampong.
