The media space was dominated by a video of a Sekondi College in the Western Region of the country raining insults at the President of the Republic, who is in the person of His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo.

In the said video, the WASSCE Candidate was captured raining unwarranted words at the president for reasons being that their WASSCE Examination questions are above their standard.

The student made a video of himself together with his colleague as they warned the president to make the subsequent examination questions easy so that they could pass their exams with flying colours.

The video became the talk of the town as Ghanaians shared their displeasure to the said news with others calling for the strict disciplinary measure to be leveled against them.

Chairman Wontumi who remains the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has shared how the president reacted to the video this morning on his private owned Wontumi Television morning show.

According to Chairman Wontumi, he was on a phone call with the president and the issue f the video that has since gone viral came into their discussion. He revealed that President Akufo Addo exhibited a high degree of maturity that shocked him.

He stressed that the President told him that his wish is for all the candidates to pass out successfully with flying colours, and he takes them as their grandchildren so whatever comes from them to him according to the Akan adage needs not to be taken as an act from a child.

“…President Akuffo Addo surprised me as he shared that his wish was for the candidates to pass and not to be bothered by wha his grandchildren does. His wish was for the candidates to pass with flying colours to glorify God…” – he said.
