Pollster Ben Ephson has predicted that Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo- Addo will win the 2020 general elections with 52.6%.
According to Pollster Ben Ephson, the results sampled from a section of voters in the upcoming elections, Nana Akufo-Addo’s main contender, John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will get 45.7% of total votes, with a 2% margin of error.
“There are a couple of reasons why Mr Mahama will find it difficult to win. The first reason is that many nursing and teacher trainees do not trust that John Mahama will not withdraw their allowances again. The NPP has been able to convince them that Mr Mahama will punish them for voting against him NDC in 2016,” Mr Ephson explained.
He disclosed that the 2020 general elections is going to be one touch for Nana Akufo-Addo and for that matter there will not be a run-off.
Ben Ephson said John Mahama’s loss according to his research is because the NDC party has failed to paint the NPP as a corrupt government with all the corruption scandal that has hit their government.
Its exactly 12 days as Ghanaians prepare for the 2020 general elections with 12 Presidential candidates.
