Trades Minister, John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten may not be moved to the Health Ministry as earlier planned.
Mr Alan Kyeremanten was expected to succeed, Kwaku Agyemang Manu who has been axed as a result of ill-health per our information before bedtime on Wednesday August 8, 2018.

Sources say, Mr Kyeremanten was not enthused about the idea to be moved to the Health Ministry considering his background and exposure at World Trade Organisation (WTO) and therefore pleaded with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to retain him at Trades.
It is not clear if the President who begins a working visit to the Ashanti region will rescind his decision to send him to the Health Ministry but Alan Kyeremanten is currently in Ankara, Turkey as the Special Guest at a Trade and Investment Fair organized by the Ghana Embassy in Turkey.
Kweku Agyemang Manu who is Member of Parliament (MP) for Dorma Central Constituency, has been booted out of government together with Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba.
Minister of Zongo and Inner Cities and Member of Parliament for Madina in the Greater Accra Region, Boniface Abubakar Saddique has also been axed.
Some 10 Deputy Ministers will be relieved of their duties in the latest reshuffle in line with the President’s resolve to reduce the number of Ministers from 110.
