The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Portuphy has described the death of Editor of the Al Hajj Newspaper, Alhaji Bature Iddrissu as a ‘sad loss’

Sources close to the family confirmed to GhanaNewsPage.Com that he passed away this afternoon.
The sad incident occurred at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where he’s been on admission.
Many have since expressed sadness over his death.
Commenting on his departure, Kofi Portuphy described Alhaji Bature as a journalist who plied his trade well and hence was sad at his loss.
“It’s a sad lost and we extend our deep condolences to the wife, children and inky fraternity. I see him as a journalist who had been trying to do his work…he always made contributions that moved Ghana forward…,” he said.
