British-Nigerian boxing star Anthony Joshua was involved in a road accident on Saturday along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.
According to reports, the incident occurred in Makun area while Joshua was travelling in a Lexus SUV. Eyewitnesses said the vehicle collided with a stationary truck on the busy highway, though the exact circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.
The Lexus, bearing the registration number KRD 850 HN, reportedly sustained serious damage following the collision. While Anthony Joshua is said to have escaped with minor injuries, the accident tragically claimed the lives of two other individuals at the scene.
Videos and photos circulating online showed emergency responders and bystanders assisting victims after the crash, drawing widespread concern from fans and members of the public. Joshua was later confirmed to be stable, with sources indicating that he received medical attention shortly after the incident.
