Former Asante Kotoko CEO George Amoako has received his outstanding salary owed him after being sacked in July.

Amoako confirmed receiving his five months arrears in an interview with Kumasi-based radio station Oyerepa FM.

The Ghana Football Association Executive Council member didn’t receive his five months salaries before his dismissal by the newly constituted Asante Kotoko Board of Directors.

“Yes it’s true, the board has paid the money they owed me, they have paid all,” Amoako told Oyerepa FM.

Amoako is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Premier League side King Faisal.
