The first phase of renovation works at Asante Kotoko secretariat at Odeneho Kwadaso will be done in the next three weeks, according to Board Member, Alhaji Abu Lamin.

Then acting Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Yaw Adu in his first day of office complained of the substandard nature of the club’s current secretariat after taking office a few months ago, insisting that the machines at the office were outdated, making administration work relatively tedious.

Mr Yaw Adu complained lack of space for the CEO and other officers of the management insisting a club of the status of Asante Kotoko deserves modern facilities that can enhance the operations of the club.

However, multiple reports in the media have it that, the twelve-member board are contemplating building an ultra-modern facility or renovating the old one to enhance administrative work.

Alhaji Abu Lamin buttressing the above reports in an interview with Accra-based Asempa FM insisted that the first phase of works at the secretariat will be done in three weeks.

“I can assure you that within three weeks, the first phase of renovation at the Asante Kotoko SC secretariat will be done,” he revealed to Asempa FM.

He added: “We also have the plans to complete Adako Jachie.”
