AshGold come from behind to beat Great Olympics

    Amos Addae and Yaw Annor scored a quick double as AshGold came from behind to hand Great Olympics their first defeat of the season at home in this match day eight fixture.

    The visitors started the game on a blistering pace and caused the defence of Olympics a lot of problems in the first 10 minutes of the match.

    Gladson Awako broke the deadlock for the homeside in the 15th minute with his goal from 22 yards which found the back of the net.

    Olympics were the better side after their goal.

    The ‘dade boys’ dominated the game with but failed to capitalize on their chances after taking the lead.

    AshGold got the equalizer before recess as Amos Addai scored before the referee whistled to end the first half.

    Just after recess, AshGold took the lead through Yaw Annor in the 47th minute.

    The miners held onto the lead until the final whistle and secured their first away win in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
