Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has been named the club’s player of the season for the 2019/2020 campaign.

The Gabon international enjoyed another impressive campaign with the Gunners, and claimed 74 per cent of the votes cast.

Aubameyang, once more finished the season as the club’s top scorer, with 29 goals to his name, and guided Arsenal to their 14th Emirates FA Cup by following his semi-final brace against Manchester City with another two strikes against Chelsea in the final.

German goalkeeper, Bernd Leno came in second, after a string of impressive displays all season.

The 28-year-old was consistently one of Arsenal’s finest performers, making vital saves in the Premier League until his season was ended prematurely at Brighton & Hove Albion after the PL restart.

The winners were announced on the club’s official website earlier on Saturday.
