The Deputy Minority Leader, Dr. James Klutse Avedzi demonstrated his political prowess in the Ketu north constituency during the NDC primaries.
Dr Avedzi who has been the Member of Parliament for the constituency shrugged off stiff competition from his three opponents to establish himself as political giant as far as Ketu North politics is concerned.
The Deputy minority leader, who doubles as the Chairman of Public Account Committee (PAC) of Parliament, emerged victorious at the NDC parliamentary primaries with a wide margin of 861 votes.
Other contestants, Mr.Gabriel Kwamigah polled 97 votes, Mr. Don Emmanuel garnered 23 votes and Mr Wisdom Nyamuame garnered 26 votes.
Dr. Avedzi who is widely tipped by political connoisseurs within the NDC fraternity to partner the Flagbearer, Ex-President John Dramani Mahama as running mate for the 2020 general elections has established himself as a political force to reckon with, in the NDC family.
PAC Chairman was also the immediate past Parliament Finance Committee Chairman under the Mills/Mahama administration.
Dr. Avedzi is also the Vice President of the World Parliamentary Public Account Committee.
