German Budesliga giants Bayern Munich have shown interest in signing Ghanaian-born British right wing back Tariq Lamptey in the current transfer window.

According to reports, the reigning European champions have already made enquiries about the service of the player and could intensify the operation in the coming days.

His club Brighton and Hove Albion want at least €25m for the right-back and Bayern are willing to pay around €15m.

The German club have set their eyes on the exciting right-back after missing out on Ajax right back Sergino Dest, who is on the verge of joining Barcelona.

Lamptey, 19, has become a hotcake following his impressive displays for Brighton since the start of the Premier League.

He has made 11 appearance for Brighton since joining the from Chelsea in January  on a three and a half year deal.
