‘Be moderate in your celebrations’ – Nana Addo to NPP supporters

    The President Nana Akufo-Addo has asked supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to be moderate in the celebration of the outcome of the 2020 elections.

    The President who is projected to be the winner of the 2020 elections posted on his Facebook wall that he is convinced he has won the polls.

    Akufo-Addo is projected to have won close to 52% of the valid votes cast for the polls.

    Below is his comment on his Facebook wall:

    Dear NPP Supporter,
    When you win an election, you don’t need to be aggressive.
    Be of good character and wait for the Electoral Commission to declare.
    And when you jubilate, be moderate and sensitive to public order and safety.
