Bempah-Kobi feud: Manhyia calls for ceasefire

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has called on Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah and his spiritual son, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi to ceasefire.

The two who are founder and leaders of Glorious Word Ministries and Glorious Wave Church respectively, have engaged in media war exhibiting their spiritual prowess.

The issue became murkier after Prophet Owusu Bempah threatened to collapse the church of Prophet Kobi who is his spiritual son.

The reason, he explained is because the his ‘son’ whom he has nurtured in the Lord has gone contrary to his advise and has also consulted other deities to be more powerful.

Prophet Badu Kobi also accepted the decision of his spiritual father and thanked him for helping him grow spiritually.

But supporters of both men of God are making it difficult for the ‘father and son’ to smoke the peace pipe.

Otumfuo Ahenenana Hene, Nana Kwame Mensah Bonsu who was in Accra for the mediation talks expressed disappointment in the men of God.

He said friction being created is rather destroying the name of Jesus Christ whom they proclaim to serve.

“Badu Kobi is my nephew so I chastised him for his conduct; I also met with Prophet Owusu Bempah and I have asked them to ceasefire” he stressed.

Nana Mensah Bonsu called on followers of both pastors to desist from inflaming passions for peace to prevail.
