    Black Stars goalkeepers trainer Najau Issah on the verge of joining Kotoko

    The goalkeepers’ trainer of the Black Stars, Najau Issah is on the verge of securing a move to Asante Kotoko, according to local media reports.

    Issah, a former goalkeeper is expected to slot in at Kotoko’s goalkeeping department and enhance standards.

    His experience after having stints with Ghana’s national teams including the Black Starlets, Black Satellites and the Black Stars.

    He has previously worked with Wa All Stars, Black Queen’s, Black Maidens, Black Princesses and the Black Stars B.

    His experiences has seen him train and work with top goalkeepers like Lawrence Ati Zigi, Richard Ofori and Felix Annan.

    Najahu Issah, a former RTU shotstopper is believed to be close to joining Asante Kotoko for the 2020-21 football season.

    His arrival will mean demotion of long-serving trainers Joe Baah and Sampson Appiah.

    The Porcupine Warriors wants to go into the season well-prepared, with every department ready to compete.

    Najawu is currently in Turkey with the senior national team Black Stars and will move to Kumasi to finalise his move.
