Assin Central Member of Parliament(MP) Kennedy Agyapong has disclosed the identity of the man behind the death of Ahmed Suale, a member of Anas Aremeyaw Anas Tiger Eye Private Investigative team who was shot and killed on Wednesday night, January 16, 2019.
According to him, the individual whose name he gave as Ansu Gyeabour is based in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
Kennedy Agyapong says he was briefed by personnel of the Ghana Police Service and is shocked that the police has not still made it public despite showing him images of the suspect playing hide and seek with the security agencies.
“The matter angers me, the person behind Armed Suale’s death is called Ansu Gyeabour and he is based in Kumasi. The Police briefed me and showed me his pictures but have asked me to take my time for over one year. Over one year they have this information and my name is out there.
The Police told me that anytime they find his location, they inform Police in Kumasi about it but sadly, the Police in Kumasi will alert him and so he will run away before Police in Accra can get to him. Ansu Gyeabour, let me repeat again.”
The Assin Central Member of Parliament indicated that since Anas Aremeyaw Anas linked him to the killing of Armed Suale, he has been embarrassed and humiliated anytime he is on International trips and therefore has lost his cool because the Police have failed to let the public know.
Ahmed was murdered on 16th January 2019 in his vehicle by two unidentified men on motorbikes who shot him three times, twice in the chest and once in his neck in his vehicle.
Ahmed was a member of investigative firm Tiger Eye Private Investigations which investigated corruption in the Ghana Football Association named Number 12 which led to the removal of office and a lifetime ban of its President Kwesi Nyantakyi.
