An Accra-bound military bus has been involved in an accident on the Accra-Tema motorway causing heavy traffic.
The accident according to a release from the Ghana Police Service occurred between Adjei- Kojo and Tema Abattoir stretch of the Kwame Nkrumah Motor way (N1).
The accident has caused heavy traffic on the busy motorway.
However, the release from the Police said they have dispatched personnel from the MTTD Department to manage traffic flow.
The road Safety Management Services Limited are at the scene to recover and tow the roll over bus to allow the flow of traffic. Meanwhile Accra bound approaching motorists should exercise patience and comply with Police directions.
It is unclear what caused the accident. The statement from the police did not also indicate the casualties in the accident.
