Kumasi Asante Kotoko will extend the contract of English trainer, Steve Pollack ahead of the 2017/2018 season.
The former Berekum Chelsea gaffer replaced Croatian trainer Zdravko Logarusic in May this year and has been able to win the president’s cup and the MTN FA Cup.
Steve Pollack won the two trophies after defeating bitterest rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.
The 3-1 FA Cup victory over Hearts of Oak has served as the icing on the cake of the coach who was part of the Kotoko team which was involved in an accident which claimed one life.
The team has also qualified for the African Confederations Cup as well.
The future of the humble coach remained unknown despite expressing desire to stay at the club once handed the green light at the end of the season.

This was confirmed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club, Dr Kwame Kyei after the victory over their bitterest rivals in Tamale.
“Steve Pollack is staying…,” Dr Kwame Kyei confirmed.
This confirmation is expected to bring to an end the uncertainty surrounding the Coach’s future.
