Former Ashanti Regional First Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Muhammad Sani has revealed that confusion within the ranks and file of the Ashanti Regional branch of the party led to the shootings at its party headquarters in Kumasi.
According to Alhaji Sani, there is a protracted confusion among the leadership of the party which had led to clashes with the latest being the one that happened on Monday which led to the death of a sympathizer of the party.
“There is confusion in the Ashanti Region branch of the NDC, we can’t agree among ourselves…it is that same confusion that led to the shootings…,” he said on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen as monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com.
One person lost his life while another is still at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital receiving treatment after the shootings.
