COVID-19: 6 new deaths recorded; case count now 23, 824

There’s a spike in the number of infections of the novel coronavirus in the country’s case count in the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service

The latest update on COVID-19 indicates that the country has recorded 371 new cases surging the number to 23, 824 out of which 19, 212 have recovered and have been discharged.

Currently, Ghana’s active cases are 4,487.

The Greater Accra Region continues to lead with the high numbers. The region has currently recorded 13,194 cases followed by Ashanti and Western regions which have recorded 5,078 and 2,052.
