COVID-19: Okoe-Boye lists first set of Ghanaians to receive vaccine

    Acting Deputy Health Minister, Dr Bernard Okoe-Boye has listed the first set of Ghanaians that would be vaccinated against COVID-19.

    Speaking on Joy FM monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, Dr Okoe-Boye said this set will be the first to be vaccinated once the Governor procures the vaccine by end of first-quarter of 2021.

    “Health Workers, Security personnel, teachers, transport operators are among first batch to receive the vaccine…,” he said.

    The President announced during an update on measures taken to curb the spread of the disease that the government has formed a committee to ensure that they procure the vaccine.

    Several Ghanaians have already indicated their unpreparedness for the vaccine.
