The Convention People’s Party (CPP) on Monday, 13 January 2020 opened nominations for persons interested in holding positions in the party and leading the group ahead of the 2020 elections.

Candidates aspiring for the flag bearer position of the party are expected to procure the nomination forms at a cost of GHS2,000 and pay GHS200,000 filing fee.

A press release signed by the Deputy Communication Director of the Party, added that persons interested in the position of National Chairman will file their forms at a cost of GHS100,000.

However, for purposes of encouraging more women and the youth to aspire to higher political office, aspirants for the position of National Women Organiser and National Youth Organiser will file their forms at a reduced cost of GHS20,000.

The National Organiser fee is pegged at GHS30,000, while that of General Secretary, Vice Chairmen and Treasurer fee is GHS70,000.
