The collaboration, he insisted will also show that the two are more matured in the industry than legendary highlife musicians, Amakye Dede and Daddy Lumba who despite their fame in the industry have failed to sing together to satisfy their fans,
Amakye Dede who is now a chief in Asante Akyem Agogo is not ofr his bugar highlife music and dirges which cut across generations.
Daddy Lumba, now known as DL is also famous for his love classics and song gospel songs as well.
Shows which feature these two legends are always over-subscribed with statesmen such as former Presidents, John Kufour and Jerry Rawlings and former first Lady, Nana Konadu Agyamang Rawlings in attendance.
Their fame notwithstanding, Lumba and Amakye Dede have failed to do a collaboration to appease their fans most of whom according to Shatta Wale are police men and women.
Speaking on Accra-based Joy FM as monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, Shatta Wale urged Stonebwoy not to be like any of the highlife legends.
“Tell Stonebwoy, that I came out before him so he should let is us do song together, we shouldn’t be like Amakye Dede and Daddy Lumba that have not done a song together and are disappointing Ghana Police Service…,” he said.
A collaboration between the two, many have predicted will be an instant hit as the two have over the years dominated the dancehall genre in Ghana.
