The government of Nana Akufo Addo is experiencing chronic diarrhea following the announcement by the Flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama to pay all the customers whose funds have locked up in the collapsed financial institutions.

It would be recalled that on the assumption of office, Nana Akufo Addo led government have collapsed several financial institutions including banks and micro finance companies in Ghana in what the government calls” financial clean up” in the banking industry.

The bank of Ghana deliberately collapsed some indigenous banks under the supervision of the government of Nana Akufo Addo.

Gallant Cadres of NDC believe this singular act was born out of envy and hatred, and a personal desire to see some Ghanaian who were succeeding in business fail. The whole agenda was not backed up by law and reasonable science.

Nana Akufo Addo government just targeted businesses belonging to opponents particularly the NDC who were competing in financial sector.

Serious panic is seen on the faces of the ruling party functionaries when John Dramani Mahama declared that he was going to pay the victims of these collapsed banks just one night after Mahama promised to pay everybody owed by the financial sector collapsed under Nana Akufo Addo.

If Nana Akufo Addo would use money borowed from IMF, World Bank and Heritage/Stabilization Fund to pretend to give freebies which in reality are not getting to the people just like the COVID-19 food distribution , couldn’t the government roll out packages to sustain those companies? Why must the State collapse businesses and companies that employ thousands of Ghanaians? .

Why must the State collapse indigenous businesses to favour foreign interests. Collapse of these companies was without science but someone’s sentimental actions without evidence.

The Nduom bank, GN Bank,Heritage Bank which belongs to Seidu Agongo and Dr Kwabena Duffuor, Unibank have all gone down It just painful to bring down all these people.

Interestingly COVID-19 has exposed the NPP Government officials secret love affair with John Mahama projects when many were caught literally resting in John Mahama Hospitals. The unfair and unfortunate revocation of licence of these banks despite their good books standing being above board. The collapse of the banks was politically motivated.

Following the promises of John Dramani Mahama to pay the customers and victims of the exercise, Mr Gabby Asare Otchere Darko has assured depositors of the defunct DKM of receiving their locked-up deposits this week. So funny.

This comes after a coalition of depositors of the defunct financial Institute for not including their payments in the mid-year budget review presented to Parliament. Leaders of the Coalition of Affected DKM Customers addressing a presser at Nkoransa on Monday, July 27, 2020, noted that they have been promised several times that their monies would be paid them but such assurance is yet to materialize.

According to the group, they have made several appeals to the appropriate authorities, but they are not getting any favourable feedback. They noted that their hopes were dashed last week during the presentation of the mid-year budget review by the Finance Minister.

But in a post on Facebook addressing the depositors, Gabby Asare Otchere Darko said “DKM has 88,962 validated claims of GHS646m. GHS329m paid, leaving GHS317m”. He indicated that “All validated DKM customers are expected to receive cash covering full payments of their deposits this week. Only GHS23m (1,391 claims) out of total GHS669m were rejected”.

Gallant Cadres of NDC find it extremely unfair and unfortunate development where many Ghanaians have been rendered unemployed, and to the extent that some people have lost their lives.
