Former U-23 coach Ibrahim Tanko ready to coach any club in Ghana

The former Black Stars striker and Black Stars ‘B’ head coach Ibrahim Tanko has opened his doors to all clubs, who would be interested in his services.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko was shown the exit door as Black Meteors head coach after a decision to dissolve all the technical teams by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

But he has been in Ghana for months, monitoring the Ghana Premier League and also involved in scouting of young talents.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko guided the Black Meteors to the semi finals of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations as they failed to qualify for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Tanko in an interview with OTEC FM in Kumasi revealed that he would embrace offers from any interested club in the local league.

“Why Not? I’m always available for any club that comes in with a good offer. It could be any time soon, either today or tomorrow” Tanko told OTEC FM.

“I am ready to coach any team in Ghana once I am approached with the offer. I started from here and I must give back if only I am needed,” Tanko said.

“My doors are open to any club that is interested.”

“My job is coaching so as long as am here, I’m ready and willing for any club who can meet my demand” He concluded.
