Former Black Stars player, Odartey Lamptey was given the green ahead by an Accra Court to go and occupy his East Legon mansion on Monday.
This was after about nine years of litigation by the two former love birds after they separated.
The matter led to the collapse of their 20-year marriage, but disagreements between the couple over compensation to Miss Appiah led to a protracted legal tussle.
Following the divorce, Lamptey parted with his five bedroom house at Dome plus a sum of 400,000 cedis as alimony, but the wife insisted she wants the plush seven bedroom house located at East Legon as part of the alimony.
In July 2021, an appeal filed by Miss Appiah to own Odartey Lamptey’s plush East Legon residence was thrown out by the Court of Appeal.
