Journalism has been my prior job during childhood. With all things been so good for me, I am able to achieve my aim and fulfill the promise I made to my family. I am now a renowned sports journalist working with Ghana News Page.

Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, George Owu has implored Felix Annan to train and pray harder for his position following the acquisition of Razak Abalora.

Annan, who was the No.1 goalkeeper for the Porcupine Warriors has been displaced by Black Meteors shot-stopper Kwame Baah and has since struggled to break into the first team, which has led to him losing his position at the senior men’s national team – Black Stars.

Compounding the issue is the club’s decision to poach former Azam FC goaltender Razak Abalora – who is reported to have included a clause in his contract to start games for the Porcupines.

Concerns have already been raised about the future of Annan, who was recently crowned the SWAG domestic player of the year with many speculating he might be on the verge of exiting the club.

But former Black Stars goalkeeper and a legend of Asante Kotoko, George Owu implored Annan to train and pray harder to reclaim his position.

“He needs to train and pray harder so that he can be able to come back to his position. It’s all about hardwork and determination, I believe the coach will use him if he abides by my advice” Owu told OTEC FM

“It is his own decision to stay and fight for his position or leave” he ended.
