“Half of My Body is Paralyzed” – Moesha Budoung Opens Up About Health Struggle – Hellovybes

Ghanaian actress and socialite, Moesha Buduong, has opened up about her ongoing health battle, revealing that half of her body is currently paralyzed.

In a recent exclusive phone interview with blogger Nkonkonsa, Moesha shares that she has been unable to walk or speak properly for several months.

While her speech has partially returned, she still faces significant challenges in mobility due to her paralysis.

 

“I went off completely and I was in bed for several months. I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t talk and couldn’t do anything. I thank God I am better now. As you can see I talk now even though I am still struggling to speak properly. Half of my body is paralyzed now. One of my legs and one of my hands are not functioning now. So I can’t type on phone now, I can only talk on phone”, Moesha disclosed.

Despite her condition, Moesha remains optimistic, expressing faith that God will heal her completely. “I know God will heal me, and I will become a global superstar,” she declares, holding onto her dreams despite the adversity.

IMG 9157Earlier this year, Moesha reportedly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. The incident, which some reports claim occurred after she slipped while twerking in a club, left her bedridden.

 

In February, rumors surfaced that she was suffering from a stroke, which her brother, Ebito Boduong, later confirmed by setting up a GoFundMe account on January 22, 2024.

The account aimed to raise $10,000 (approximately GH₵123,600) to cover her mounting medical expenses.

As of now, $5,158 has been raised, with supporters offering their contributions to aid Moesha’s recovery. While the exact cause of her condition remains unclear, her family continues to seek help from the public.

In the exclusive interview with Nkonkonsa, Moesha Buduong also confirmed that she was aware her brother Ebito, opened a GoFundMe account to raise funds to takecare of her medical bills.

 

She adds that even though they haven’t been able to raised their target of $10,000, every money raised is being used for it purpose accordingly.

Moesha concludes her emotional exclusive interview by expressing her profound gratitude to her fans, friends and family for supporting her through the difficult times.

 

She acknowledges the tough times she has faced but expressed hope that she will make a full recovery and return to pursuing her passion on the global stage, insisting that she believes God will heal her completely and make her superstar.

“I know God love me, I know will not let me down and I believe in God so much now and I believe God will heal me completely and make me a superstar for the world to know me. I will use my fame and influence the spread the good news of God all over the world”, Moesha concluded.
