Asante Kotoko SC newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has thrown a sack at critics tagging him as a youngster in football management.

The 2019 GFA Presidential aspirant was officially unveiled as the Porcupine Warriors new CEO who takes over from George Amoako, GFA ExCO member who exited the club by the directives of Asante Kotoko Board of Directors.

Nana Yaw Amponsah upon hearing the tag of a new boy in football and lack experience to manage such a big club in Ghana, replied that he’s not a youngster neither a ‘new boy’ since he has being in Ghana Football for fifteen (15) years.

Asuch, has gathered alot in football and can be used to steer the affairs of Asante Kotoko SC

“It is untrue that I am a newbie in football. I’ve done football for fifteen years, I hold Master’s Degree in Sports Law and Practice from the Leicester DE Monort University, UK.”, he told Opemsuo FM.

“I have been a Club President and worked with world renowned football companies. Though I am young in terms of age, but not issues of football,” he concluded.

Nana Yaw Amponsah was a FIFA Licensed player agent/intermediary and transferred over 50 players from Ghana from 2008 to 2018.
