Journalism has been my prior job during childhood. With all things been so good for me, I am able to achieve my aim and fulfill the promise I made to my family. I am now a renowned sports journalist working with Ghana News Page.

Former skipper for Accra Hearts of Oak, Yaw Amankwah Mireku says he is ever ready to take the assistant coaching job at Hearts of Oak when the opportunity or the chance is given.

‘I am qualified to be a coach because I have an approved license which grant me the chance to coach,’ Amankwah Mireku told Accra-based Top FM in an interview.

‘I have plans to help my former club to win more trophies and it is my vision to coach big club like Hearts of Oak, he added.

Yaw Amankwah Mireku further said when the chance is given, he will help the current players to get better form so that they can compete well in the domestic league and Africa.

Hearts of Oak has not won the Ghana Premier League for the past 10 years but yet to see what they can achieve in the upcoming 2020/2021 league season.
