The 17-year-old dynamic striker has reacted to his late inclusion into the senior national team.
According to Prince Adu Kwabena he was not expecting to be called but said he is very happy to represent Ghana at the senior level.
“I am surprised with my debut call up to the Ghana National Team. I am really happy and ready to prove to the world that local players deserve a chance at BlackStars.”- Adu Kwabena told Light Fm.
“Luis Suarez is my role model in football. I have mimicked most of his ideas in my play. My aspiration is to play in one of the European leagues.”
The youngster had a discovery in the 2019-2020 truncated Ghana premier league scoring 8 goals in 14 games and has sent his sight on the upcoming season.
“My target is to score 25 goals in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season. I am preparing very well and hope my mission will be accomplished.” He concluded.
Adu Kwabena is currently at the National U-20 camp preparing for the WAFU zone B tournament which will take place in Togo later this year.
