The wife of the late Kojo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA), Valentina Ofori Afriyie says she is still in shock one year after the demise of her husband, Kojo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA).

Valentina, host of Class FM’s Evening news lost her husband on 18th November, 2018.

One year after the demise of the Former Asempa Fm’s Broadcaster, KABA, Valentina took to Facebook to express her shock.

She wrote: “18th November 2017 my life changed. Words have failed me. I can only manage to say GOD KEEP YOU. I LOVE AND MISS U.”

Kwadwo Asare-Baffuor Acheampong popularly called ‘KABA’ was confirmed to have died of low blood sugar also known as ‘hypoglycemia’.

KABA as he was popularly known, died in the early hours of Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

KABA until his sudden death, was the host of popular late afternoon political talk show, Ekosii Sen on Asempa 94.7 FM.

Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong officially joined The Multimedia Group in August 2009 as a broadcast journalist. He was then the regular host of news bulletin ‘Asempa Today’ on Asempa FM.

He also hosted weekly current affairs programme ‘Kukurantumi’ on Saturday morning.

He rose through the ranks to become of the country’s most-sought-after political and current affairs talk host.

He was awarded as the Best Talk Show Host in the 2017 edition of the Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards.

KABA was formerly the host of ‘Badwam’, a current affairs show on Adom TV. He sat in for regular hosts on many programmes, including ‘Dwaso Nsem’ on Adom 106.3 FM.
