National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is offering to buy a huge cow for the bodyguard of former President John Mahama who attacked Prophet Owusu-Bempah at a church over the weekend.

Sammy Gyamfi explained that the conduct of the bodyguard was justified due to the unprovoked vitriolic attacks launched by the man of God on Mr Mahama.

Prophet Owusu-Bempah was violently prevented from exchanging pleasantries with the former President at the Holy Ghost Revival Center of the Assemblies of God Church, South Odorkor, Accra where both were invited to grace its 30th anniversary.

The bodyguards stopped the man of God from shaking Mr Mahama for repeatedly hounding him out of office.

In support, Mr Gyamfi on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, Monday said the bodyguards were right to prevent Rev. Owusu-Bempah from getting close to Mr Mahama.

He explained that, it was not easy to shake hands with someone who had accused you of murdering a sitting president without evidence.

Mr Gyamfi commended Mr Mahama for meeting the man who had accused him of committing crimes over the years.

“The patience, tolerance and temperament former President Mahama demonstrated are expensive virtues that only consummate democrats and gentlemen like him can exhibit,” the NDC man opined.
