The potent striker has rejoined the Porcupine Warriors after a successful loan spell at King Faisal.
Ghana Premier League side King Faisal FC have confirmed the return of Ibrahim Osman to his parent club Asante Kotoko following the expiration of his contract.
Osman joined the Insha Allah boys on a season-long loan deal from their city rivals prior to the start of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League which ended abruptly due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
King Faisal head coach, Slaviša Božičić confirmed the departure of the 20-year-old forward to his mother club.
“It is true that Osman [Ibrahim] has thanked me for what I taught him at King Faisal” Božičić Kumasi-based radio station told Oyerepa FM.
Osman had a tremendous debut season during his loan spell at King Faisal in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
He scored eight goals in his 14 appearances for King Faisal FC.
Osman joined the Porcupines from Kumasi-based Division-One side, Asokwa Deportivo in May 2018 but had been loaned out to Liberty Professionals and King Faisal since his arrival.
Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has identified Ibrahim Osman for their next season’s campaign despite King Faisal interest to tie him down after his loan spell had expired.
