Controversial comedienne, Afia Schwarzenegger has threatened to campaign against the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 elections if the party fails to protect and improve upon the free Senior High School (SHS) programme.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, the TV/Radio personality said that policy attracted her to the NPP and hence wanted the policy to continue after her twins benefited from the policy.
The one-time NDC fanatic was seen campaigning vigorously for the second term of President Nana Akufo-Addo. This attracted lots of attacks on her from the NDC members on social media.
But she maintained that she was convinced every reasonable doubt that every deserved free SHS and that motivated her to campaign for Nana Akufo-Addo despite initially doubting the success of the policy.
Her twins who graduated from SHS have gained admission into the University and would commence classes on Monday, 11th January, 2021.
