Poet and broadcast Journalist with Zylofon FM, Blakk Rasta has disclosed that he has not been paid salary for the past one year by his boss Nana Appiah Mensah popularly called NAM 1.

According to him, things have been smooth for him even though he hasn’t been paid for the past one year ever since the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) stopped the gold dealership company, Menzgold from operating because it is not properly licensed.

The Kuchoko legend speaking to Nana Kwesi Gyau Asare on Accra based, Class Fm weekend entertainment show dubbed, ‘The Big Show”, monitored by GhanaNewsPage.com said, for the past one year no one has ever come to him with even 1 cedi.

“For 12 months now, one year, no salary man, I’ve not been paid for the past one year. Nobody comes to say okay take 1 cedi and we fill our tanks with fuel, we move in and out every now and then. No salary”..he said

Blakk Rasta further said, he’s not ready to meet his boss, Nana Appiah Mensah until he’s done paying his customers because there are so many people who desires his attention, not him.

“I am the least person who would like to meet NAM1. Let him deal with the people, there are so many people who desires his attention. He has lawyers to pay. He has his family to meet, his family that he hasn’t seen for so long, let him please any other person. Let me be the last person NAM1 want to see”

Wearing a black suit, over a white shirt with a yellow tie, the embattled Nana Appiah Mensah in the courtroom last Friday 26th July, 2019 with his lawyers and sympathizers was granted bail.

To secure the bail, NAM1 is expected to present 5 sureties, three of whom must be justified. He is also expected to report himself to the police every Wednesday.
