New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for La Dadekotopon, Hon Vincent Odotei Sowah who doubles as the Deputy Communications Minister has confirmed he has deployed DSTV Decoders.
According to Obama, as he’s affectionately called, he has deployed over 30 DSTV decoders to his constituents as part of his MP duties.
In an interview with GhanaNewsPage.com, he confirmed he has distributed a number of DSTV decoders and TV sets to his constituents as reported by this portal.
“I have deployed over 30 sets of decoders and TV since 2017,” he said.
He also said he intends to deploy an additional 10 DSTV decoders come Friday August 16, 2019.
“I will deploy another 10 to my constituents…,” he added.
Obama listed what he has done for his constituency which includes; Free NHIS registration for children up to the age of 17 years, all physically challenged and adults 59+ and above in his constituency, Free Household Toilet and Free Child Education.
“I’ve built over 150 toilets and we are continuing to build. I have made creche, day nursery, KG free. There is a place called LA neighborhood center where children attend school free of charge.
“I have made health insurance free for every child up to 17 years, all physically challenged and adults.”
The Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak further claimed that his achievement is first to happen in the world of politics.
“What I am doing has never been done in the history of Ghana politics. I have been doing that for the past 2 years,” he added.
Mr. Sowah Odotei, who has always played a major role in the realization of the incumbent government’s ‘Ghana Beyond Aid’ agenda has promised his constituent a lot, if they re-elect him as Member of Parliament for the area for the second time.
