Assistant Coach of Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold SC, Thomas Duah has revealed that he can’t throw more light on Shafiu Mumuni because he has only watched him TV.
“I can’t say a lot about him (Shafiu Mumuni) because I’ve not seen him since my appointment with the Ashgold”.
“I worked with the team for almost one month [before the Pandemic] but frankly speaking I didn’t work with him and haven’t seen his play” Thomas Duah told OTEC FM in an interview.
“I’ve only watched him on TV when the team (Ashgold) participated in the last African Confederation Cup” He concluded.
Ghana Premier League giants AshantiGold appointed former player Thomas Duah as assistant coach who will deputize the Italian Roberto Landi, who was appointed substantive coach to replace Turkish trainer Kasim Gokyildiz.
Duah, holds CAF License A, and was assigned to replace Yakubu Sheriff Mambo who was re-assigned as a scout after their humiliating 6-1 defeat to WAFA in Sogakope in the truncated league.
